Stanley (Stan) Eugene Sinsel was born April 14th, 1938 to Harry and Lydia Sinsel. Stanley was born the 7th out of 14 children. Stan grew up in Archer, NE where he graduated from in 1956. He joined the United States Air Force on December 11th, 1956 and began his training in aircraft hydraulic repairs. Stan was stationed at Bunker Hill, Indiana as an aircraft hydraulic repairman belonging to the 319th Fighter-Inceptor Squadron and served under this unit until discharging in 1960.
Following his military career Stan worked construction in Central Nebraska. He married Elaine H. Sinsel (Felske) and had three children: Todd, Cindy, and Nancy. Later in life, he and his family relocated to California where he joined the American Legion in Perris, California. Later he became a commander of the Sons of the American Legion. Outside of attending events at the Legion, Stan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; playing slow pitch softball, cards, and bowling. Stan Passed away on December 3, 1991 leaving behind his wife, children, and several grandchildren.
