Landon Lee Blath was born on September 27th, 2003 in Fremont, Nebraska. Landon moved with his mom to Grand Island, when he was around 5 years old, she wanted him to be closer to his dad.
Landon did 3 years in JR ROTC. In his junior year of high school, Landon decided to join the military. He was originally going into the Army and then decided to change and join the Marines.
Landon graduated in May 2021, and then left a couple weeks later for Boot Camp in San Diego, CA. Landon stayed in a hotel for 2 weeks for quarantine before going into boot camp. Landon graduated from boot camp in September 2021 on his mom’s birthday. Then he went to 29 Palms for his AIT. He is a 7212 Low Altitude Air Defense Gunner and graduated as a E-3 Lance Corporal.
After AIT he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. Then went on a ship to the Guam/Philippines area for 3 months. After 3 months he came back to California and then a year later went to Australia for 6 months. While in Australia, Landon got promoted to E-4 Corporal. Landon will be in the service this coming June for 3 years. June 2025 Landon wants to sign up again.
During this time Landon has gotten married to the love of his life and they live on base and just got a puppy. His mother has visited him every year he has been in the service. His young cousins love him to death and ask about him all the time. His family is all very proud of him and all the things he has done so far and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.
