Casey Beahm is a native Nebraskan. Casey attended basic training and A/T in October 2008-2009 at Fortt Benning, Georgia Infantry School. Casey then got stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, with the 101st 3rd Brigade 187 INF Regiment. Casey completed Air Assault School and Long Range Marksmanship Training there.
Casey is a leader, and the Army noticed. Casey was offered to lead a team and then deployed to Paktika Province, Kandahar, Ghazni District, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan in 2010-2011. Casey’s team did dozens of air assaults and mounted and dismounted patrols. Casey was QRF and ARG for the 310 Ranger Battalion.
Casey was wounded in a firefight in 2010 while in Afghanistan. Casey is humble and does not talk about his acts of heroism afterward, but as his friend I know that if it were me out there, it would be Casey I would want on my team.
After Afghanistan, Casey spent a little time in Germany, some time in Iraq, and some time in Kyrgyzstan. Casey then ETS’d out of the military in 2012 and came back home to Nebraska. Casey was not done serving his country and decided to spend four years with the Army Reserves in Hastings.
Casey Beahm is a Purple Heart recipient. When I asked Casey about his time in the military, he never mentioned any lauds he received, but instead, Casey mentioned the teams he was on or led.
Casey has a wife, Nicole, and four children – Daughters: Avery, 11, Twins Emma and Everly, 6, and son named Archer, who is 3. Casey and his family live in Grand Island. Casey enjoys hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and vacations.
