Matt Hoggatt is a 2004 graduate of GI Northwest High School, married to Elizabeth (Ostwinkle) Hoggatt, also a 2004 graduate of GINW. Matt and Elizabeth have three children, Daniela 9, Byron 6, and Bernedette 4. When Matt and Elizabeth get some free time, they enjoy traveling with the kids and they also enjoy camping and the outdoors. When the opportunity arrives, Matt especially enjoys hunting with his family.
Matt joined the US Army after 2 years attending UNK in 2006. He served from 2006-2011 with the First Infantry Division, 2-2 Battalion @ Fort Hood and Fort Knox. Matt has been a part of Two tours of Afghanistan 2008-2009, 2011. Matt has received Numerous accommodations, including a Purple Heart. Matt was with the 173rd Airborne Division in Vicenza Italy from 2012-2015, with the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii from 2015-2016, A Warrant Officer – Chinook Pilot – Fort Riley Kansas – Chief Warrant Officer from 2017 -2023, Currently at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, CA as a Helicopter Pilot since 2023.
